What is the procedure to end H1-B?

I\'ll be ending my 6 year stay in America end of this year and will be moving to Europe. I know that after ending H1-B I only have 10 days to leave the country. But what is exactly the procedure to end the H1-B. Do I habd over any paperwork, does my company write a letter, do I get a cancel stamp on my Visa in my passport? Your comments would be very much appreciated. Rene

You just leave the country. Save the Flight tickets for later use including the Boarding pass if you want to reapply for H1-B1 after 1 year. When you go to Europe the Immigration officials will stamp in your passport which is the proof that you are out of the U.S. Also you should save the accepted resignation letter from the company you worked in the U.S. I think this should do.
