what is the H1 valid date for 2008? help me

my husband got his regular H1 approval last week. But the valid date started from June21,2007. I remember it should start on OCt1 for 2008H1.

Help me. is there anyone know this situation? what is his H1 valid date?

When did he apply for H1 ?
Is that new H1 or tranfer ?
Is he working at company or non profit org such as university ?
what is start date on attached I-94 ?
 
he applied the regular H1

My husband applied th regular H1 working in a small company.He applied his H1b in april3,2007.

when he applied this H1 , he is H4 visa.
 
H1 start date

I forget to mention that the start date on the attached I94 is June 1,2007. He should be a new H1 application.
