Hi guys,
I am wondering what the current waiting times are from submission of I-485 until receipt of the receipt notice?

I send my I-485 to the TSC (wich was indicated on the I-140 approval notice). Any experience of people with TSC I-485 times?

Thanks!

o TSC Compliance Date:

Hi guys,

thanks!
Yes, I had submitted my I-485 application after my I-140 EB1-EA was approved to TSC on June 23 via priority mail, and it was received around June 27th 2007.
From the response above I assume I may receive the receipt notice on 7/20/2007. I had called USCIS and all they told me is that it coulld take more than 30days that the casdh my check and then 30-60 days until I receive the receipt notice.
I called because I have been told that I need that receipt notice to travel on an H1B visa and reenter the country. However, the USCIS person told me I do not need that receipt notice to reenter the country and that a valid H1B visa would be sufficient. I am not sure if I can trust that statement???

She also told me that to get my I-485 approved based on an approved I-140 EB1-EA could take up to 2 years??? What are your experiences?

USCIS person was right, you do not need that receipt notice to reenter the country and that a valid H1B visa would be sufficient, and you will be accepted in US without any problems

Unfortunately if you do that, your green card processing will be screwed.

what do you mean with my GC card processing will be screwed?

I thought it would not cause any difference if you travel on an H1B visa?

Your greencard case will be considered abandoned if you travel abroad before getting I-485 receipt
