Gurus,

What is the correct mailing address to inform NSC about the change of address while I-485 is in process:

The INS web site for Nebraska Service Centre

http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/fieldoffices/nebraska/aboutus.htm#anchorWHERE

says:
"
Please send your Address Change to:

BCIS-NSC
PO Box 87865
Lincoln, NE 68501-7865"

But my lawyer says it should be sent to the address where the application was filed. I did concurrent processing and the address was :
P.O. Box 87485, Lincoln, NE
68501-7485

Please advice me what is the correct address?

I also went through the forums for change of address , some guys are also advising to send a fax and also call them by phone to inform.

Can anyone please tell me the fax # and the phone # to call Nebraska Service Centre for change of address?

Thank You,

I think you should follow the guidelines on the BCIS webpage.

NSCs telephone number is 1-800-375-5283

If you want confirmation you can speak to an IIO. It takes a while to get through so be patient.

The address change form is AR-11. Go to the BCIS website and download the form, and the address is right there. The AR-11 forms are supposed to be sent to London, KY. the website for BCIS states everything very clearly.

Once you mail the form, follow up with a call to NSC and inform an IIO of your new address as well.
