WHat is the best way to correct error on Green card?

HI, All

As you already know, I have received green card with wrong info on it.
Now I wonder what is the best and fastest way to replace it?

1. Schedule Infopass appointment, the national customer service center recommended me to do this. THe agent said I just need to bring I90 form
filled with correct infomation and 3 new photos, this single appointment will do all the work. I don't need to come again.

2. File I90 online as recommended by CuriosGeorge. THen schedule an appointment as Application SUpport center to collect my biometric information again.

Which way do you think is faster? Also, I have already done online filing of
I90. If I later chose to use infopass, do I have to cancel my previous efling
case first?

I received the my card yesterday with my name spelt incorrectly. Everything else was correct.

I never received any "welcome notice". The automated phone service kept talking about the receipt number on the welcome notice.

Finally, I spoke to a representative and she told me to go with infopass appt, two photos and a proof that it was service center error.

Anyone with suggestions as to what proof should I take. And, what is the time-frame we are talking about for replacement card?
