what is happening to our cases

THERE IS NO LOGIC IN THIS FIELD. If they decide they don't want to approve your cases and make you suffer more, it is the best way to dump your cases into the security check (name check). They probably already know you are fine, or something horrible would have already happened. Thinking logically can only make me more frustrated. I just blame I don't have the good luck.

Project Ocean to amend INA about 5-year residential requirement

If you plan to get a US Citizenship, please join Project Ocean.

USCIS is trying to adjudicate concurrent filers of I-140 and I-485 within 90 days.
On the other hand, most of old applicants have been waiting almost 3 years since I-140 was filed.

My I-485 got approved recently, however it's been more then 2 years since I-485 was filed and almost 3 years since I-140 filed.

I think the best way to implement Justice and Fairness is to amend the INA about 5-year residential requirement.

Dear all, thank you so much for your replies.
I went to the local congressmen's office yesterday. The office lady was very nice and also told me that we probably got stuck in name check. :( let's see what will happen then. Thanks for all your pray and I will pray for us and all of us who are in the same boat as well.
best
Tina

dear freelanddream
hope all of us get our good luck back as soon as possible.

Dont be twoo worried. Try to minimize its bad impact on your life. I know it is hard becuase we can hardly do that. Whenever we talk about that, we would feel that we are in a endless long long night. But we still have to live of life no matter we have GC or not. Be happy and patient. That is what we are trying to do.

Tina

Dear Tina,

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement.
I kept trying to make my kind peaceful but it was useless. But I will continue to try that. I have a feeling it is a discrimation against the people from our country. (I guess you and I came from the same Country.)

Tina,

Keep calling your congressman every 3-4 weeks. Let them know that you are still there.

Also, you might want to call your U.S. Senator's office. Hang in there! You'll be approved soon.

dear all, the congressman's office have confirmed with me that my husband's case is still in the security checking process. :( guess there is nothing much I can do now.

dear Ysolong
Thank you so much for your encouragement. I will check back with the congressman's office in several weeks.
