Hi,
Perhaps one of you can help me decipher what this means:
My wife just called USCIS to start an SR. She is derivative, I am primary. I was approved in June 2005. Her case is as follows:
My labor jan 03
485 RD Nov 2004
fp 1 apr 05
case transferred to TSC in early apr 07 - got transfer notice
fp 2 may 07
Called TSC IO on 5th june 07 was told everything is clear (name check done, case assigned to officer)
Infopass 4th july 07 - was told everything is clear (same information as above)
In mid july 2007 LUD on her approved AP
In mid aug 2007 LUD on her approved EAD
She just called USCIS customer service - the rep told her:
1. your namecheck is still pending !
2. your case is still in VERMONT !!
3. If you have changed addresses, (which we did), you should double check that the address change request went through. (Which I think it did, because we got fp 2 notification at new address).
4. the SR went ot Vermont - that's what the rep told her. What do you think is going to happen ?
What's going on here ? Did anyone have such an experience ? Is there a possibility that the rep was looking at older information ? I mean even the automated system recording tells us that the case is transferred to Mesquite TX. This is really too much. I don't know what else to do. Last recourse is congressman's office.
Do you think it will help ?
Thanks,
