what is form I-89

My courtesy copy just asked us go to SF office to do fingerprint and signature on form I-89, not mention I-551 stamp at all. The assistant of my lawyer, as she has not yet received official letter , asked me to fax the letter to her and said this one is a little different from the standard I-485 approval notice, so she need ask an attorney to review. so I am starting nervous...

is the form you fill out when you take your approval notice and passport to the office.
they putpictures/fingerprints/signature on it and that's used to request the actual plastic card
so all it is is a form they fill out to send you the plastic card

they at that time, also stamp your passport with the temp i551
it's all good no worries
