What is the easiest way to get hold of IIO? I have been trying to get hold of one by pressing after hearing your case status. But the message says there is some kind of emergency and I can\'t talk to an IIO. I see lot of people in this site who were able to talk to IIO this morning. Thanks in advance

You\'re right, usually you would hit 0 and speak to the IIO. But this is a combination of luck, prayer, etc. Sometimes they\'re open, sometimes they\'re closed. If you have a general question on immigration, there is another number: (800) 375-5283.
However these people cannot give you any case-specific info. Mind you, nor can the other IIOs at VSC, who just give general, worthless information.

may we we should stop calling the IIO. they could devote their time approving our cases instead of answering our questions..
