what is cut off priority date?

Hi guys,

Here is a message from another thread, I just don't know what this means, and how is it gonna impact me. My labor was filed in april 2003 and approved in november 2003, and 140/485 concurrently filed in feb 2004.

"Here is the cut off priority dates effective Jan 1st 2005 of course
12/08/2004: India/China/Filipino EB-3 Moved to 01/01/2002!!"

If you labor filed under EB3 catogery you are affected otherwise you are fine...
Do you know what category you filed? if you do not know ask your lawyer!!

Yes, I think my labor filed under EB3 catogery, I still don't understand how this going to impact me. Is this priority cutoff date like the processing date posted by the service centers. They will not process the case filed after the priority cutoff date?

I just checked my labor, it says "acceptance date for processing : November 2001", Does that mean I am not going to be affect by this priority date?
 
Hello members.,

is priority date cut affected to me?

My details as follows :

a) EB3 , VSC, Indian
b) ND date: I 140 & I 485 --> 12/1/03
c) I 140 approved
d) Fp done on 11/9/04
e) LUD updated on 11/16/04 --> recd fp
11/24/04--> without message

f) I got it priority date which is 10/10/02 on I 140 app'val

I expecting AD of I 485 soon. But I got news about priority date cut of news

any information that more helpful.
