what is "class of admission" in AP I-131 form?

TheRealCanadian

Looking at your signature I see you are August 2001 case!!! Thats a long wait. I hope you get it soon. BTW have you tried sending expedite fax request, email to Mr. Khatri etc. I've been thinking about doing all this. But honestly, in the bottom of my heart I am a little scared to rock the boat. Not that I have any criminal records or something like that. But just hoping that it would happen without any intervention and didn't want to piss them off. Any thoughts...

Thank You

I believe is a new entry in the updated I-131 form: From somewhere in "www.murthy.com"

This is your current status in the US: Adjustee.

Used this in my third AP, approved.

Mode of last entry

Mode of last entry: H1B or student etc.. I just asked my lawyer, I'm sending my AP in a day or two..

For The Last Time For All

Never mind what some lawyers say or believe:

The latest version of the AP document, which has been around for some time has a "new" entry called CLASS OF ADMISSION. They should have named it in a more precise and clearer way but this is USCIS.

CLASS OF ADMISSION: It is your present status in the US. If you entered with whatever (H, F, L or any other fancy visas) and you changed status in the US, by for example applying for I-485, then put ADJUSTEE.

Thanks for your kind words. As you notice on my signature, I have an interview scheduled for the day after tomorrow. Hopefully that will also be the approval date. :)
