What is "blanket" I-797?

My interim appointment confirmation for H1B at Mumbai says the following under the required documents section.

Photocopy of the petitions :
i) photocopy of Form I-797 (Notice of Action) of principal applicant
ii) where the I-797 is a blanket permit, photocopy of Form I-129

How do I find out if my I-797 is "blanket"?

I-797 is also the approval form for L1 visas which can be blanket. there is no blanket H1.

with L1 companies are allowed to apply for kind of group approvals without specifying an individual, this is supposed to give them flexibilty to send one of the available employees to US
