I have been through finger printing and namechack process in my local USCIS office 1.5 yrs back. Is it same as biometric?

Do I need to take it again as I am filing EAD renewal now?

Thanks

Fingerprints are biometrics. You don't need to take it again unless yours were not recieved by the USCIS or it is been more than 15 months. They would issue you another notice.

EAD renewals are not much related to fingerprinting though some claim it may trigger some activities on processing.

Does fingerprinting renewal notice come to you directly or does it go to the Attorney. Since they give a very short notice to appear, need to know where the mail will be sent.

I got mine at my home address, not thru the attorney. It was the first FP, though, and I haven't had a second FP yet as it's not yet been 1.5 yrs.
