I'm A Dv 2005 With The Number 2005af00007xxx From Nigeria. My Interview Is Schedule For 1st Week Of March. I Would Like To Know If It Is Necessary For Me To Bring Along To The Interview Aos, From The Person I Shall Be Staying With In The State.

How do I get the person to send me the AOS. Will he have to courier it to me? I spoke with some people and they were saying that it is not compulsory to have to have an AOS from a relative in the US.

I would also like to know what is the minimum amount of money I would be requested to show at the embassy, I am working and I dont have much in the bank, except when I resign, I will have some money.

You can ask that person to sign one for you, if he/she has a sufficient income. The person may refuse, because if he signs it he will be responsible for you for 3 years.

Depending on your education, English and experience, and your own financial situation, you may not need an affidavit of support.
