What is Alien registration #

What is Alien registration #.
I need it to fill G-639 (FOIA Request). I thought that I should be having it on 485 receipt but I do not find it there.
There is some number starting with letter "A" but that is under heading "Applicant" not Alien registration #.
Can anyone explain it.

Yes you right. It is on I-485 receipt notice A # or A number. It indicates applicant id.

It should be there on your EAD card also.
