What is A#??

Hi,

I am trying to file my Advance Parole E-filing. There it is asking for my A#. I am not sure what is A#. In the instructions it says, Alien registration number. But in my 485 receipt, there is nothing like A#. One column says Application there one number is starting with Axxxxxxxx. Is it the A#??

Yes, Axxxxxxxx is the A#. It will be in the format A XXX-XXX-XXX.
 
Thank you for the responses.. But I made a mistake when I filed.. I swapped the last name and first name of my wife.. I dont know how to correct.. any suggestions please??
 
It appears to be some sort of s/w error. I have seen many in the other forums who had similar experience.

Probably E-fling of EAD/AP is not suggestable? I doubt !!
 
A # ...Alien registration #.
Ask you attorney to correct the name swap ...I think the sooner you get it done the better

I tried calling NSC. But the automatic message saying that, they do not have the record yet. Because I filed E-filing, they did not receive that yet. I am not sure what I need to do, I will call in another week or so, and see what they say. Then I go for the lawyer.

I did it with my EAD actually
ASC=Aapplication support center where you go for you biometrics for your EAD
you set up the appointment after you e-filed your application for EAD with the customer service center
However for advance parol you just have to sumbit additional documents and photos .Dont have to go to the support center
Try to get help for customer service center and tell them about your name swapping they will tell you wht to do next
 
I spoke with Customer Service representative, she forwarded the call to one of the officer. He did correct the last name, first name swap for me.. that is cool..
 
Filing for the 2nd time after divorce for K=1

I filed K-1 back in 2007. Married in 2008, he deserted me in 2011, divorced in May, 2013. I want to file again for the last time. My question is concerning the petition form I-129F about ex, what does it mean by place and date of filing and A#? Do I attached a sheet of paper after I find this info?

File for what again? Another K1 with somebody else? Are you a US citizen, or are you the person trying to immigrate?
