what Impact does salary specified in the I-140 and LCA has?

Hello there,
I wanted to know if one should be on the same salary for the enitre GC process?. what sort of impact one has if the salary mentioned in the LCA and I_140 is more than what he/she is drawing today?.Any body has any idea about this one please share. Thanks in advance

**in other words LCA salary is more and presently drawing less.

I just cant beleive that there has been no one with such a thougt or question. Please post your experience/suggestion/idea as it will be really useful to me.

This issue was recently discussed.. Search the forum...

In short, it should not have any issues. The salary stated in the labor application is for future employment not current..

I know one friend had problem with salary issue and he received RFE on his I-140 about the salary. His company did not want to match his salary to LC level. He still had this I-140 approved.
