How long can you stay out of the US if the GC comes in while you are out on AP? Normally the AP allows you to be out 1 year. But GC is at risk if you are out for 6 months. So does the 1 year take precedence or the 6 months?
If my father's GC arrives while he is out on AP, is anything wrong with me Fedex'ing the GC to him so he can reenter on the GC? Or is it better to hold the GC and have him reenter on the AP? Is the AP still valid for entry once the GC is received? Or does USCIS wait on mailing the GC until they see that he is back in the country?
