what if I being layoff / change job after sending ref to BCIS

Hi I have filed my I485 over 20 months. I still waiting for my 2nd finger print notices and ref.

i want to change job, but I think I may have chance that BCIS will ask for my finger prints and ref soon.

so what if I get layoff / change job after I sent the ref to BCIS ?

--- if laid off get new job and inform BCIS. After RFE also you can update BCIS that your I-485 should be approved on XYZ company joboffer letter and you should update the BCIS with new employer letter. Keep they copy of all the letters sent to BCIS and send it to BCIS with return reciept
