I'm a DV 2007 winner from sril lanka. I got my visa last week.
i'm planning to move USA in End of Septermber.

Pls. any one guide me, after arriving USA., what are the neccessary step I have to take. How to find a job? and also I have a problem that when I was filling the DSP - 230 I & II, I wrote my cousin's address in Maryland, but by the time now cousin moved to new place in Danbary. How can I change the address to receive my Green Card & SSN Card to new address.

pls. help on this regard

What to do after arriving USA

HI Kumar,

You may find a job in USA as per your abilities.
initially a minimum salary strats from $7.00/hour.
If you are smart you can for better jobs, such as software engineer, accountant. those categories salry starts from 25.00/hour. or most of the times 35,000/year and up.
there are so many things you can do to live in USA.
For your GC matter Your cousin can inform the USPS( us postal services) to send his corresponding to new address or you have to contact USCIS for your new address.
I don't think that this is an issue.
Most of people here are helpfull.

You can have the address changed at the point of Entry to your new address.
Its not a problem at all as long as you implement the changes at th POE.
 
minimum wage is below $7/hour.

USPS does NOT forward documents from USCIS. They send them back to USCIS. Most of the time the card is destroyed, and you have to pay for a replacement.

Do give the officer at POE the new address. Get your friends to put YOUR name inside their mail box alongside theirs. If you don't get your GC within a month, start calling USCIS.
 
Minimum wage in most states is wat below $7. The average is $5.50. In some states in the midwest, its $5.15/hr
