What happens when I am eligible to file my 485?

My labor got approved last December and I140 was approved at Jan 2006 so I can't file my I485 until my priority becomes currents.
When my priority date (11/18/2002) becomes current in future and I am eligible to file I-485; does this mean that
1. I get a visa quote and can also apply for AP and EAD, currently how long it takes to get AP and EAD approved?
2. I heard that CIS must approve my I-485 in 60 days because my priority date becomes current, is this true?
3. As far as I know many I485 applicants have to wait 1 or 2 years to get their background security check done, does it mean that I could wait another 1 or 2 year as well for the security check?
4. It is hard to predict visa bulletin but could you shed me some light that it would go faster or slower? Just the personal opinion :)

AP and EAD are dependent on 485 that is in-turn dependent on VISA numbers. AP and EAD usually takes anywhere from couple of weeks to couple of months. Check USCIS website for current processing dates.

No.

Not all people get stuck in security check (so called name check). For most of the applicants ( > 90%) the NC is cleared in a day or 2.

Unless there is a new immigration bill etc. the dates will keep moving slowly. Just my opinion.
