what happens to the process if company is acquired?

Hi,

I have me I140 approved. My priority date is not current so I'll have to wait before I can apply for I485. In the meantime, my company will possibly be bought by another company and I'll be employed with the new company. What happens in this case, the case is transferred and everything is normal? Or is it considered changing jobs?

If the company acquisition occurs before you apply I-485 You have to apply for the amendment of I-140 with successar in interest clause. Even you may need an ammendment to existing H1/L1
Discus this with your attorney. New compnay should assume all immigration related issues

Hi,
what sort of amendment forms is available to send USCIS ? same for H1+ LC ?

Also, would it be applicable for pending I-140 and the merger has taken place before approval ? Do i need to send any amendments for I-140 + H1 + LC then?
