Suppose a person has approved I-140 (say, EB-1 or EB-2 NIW) and his/her I-485 is denied due to any reason. Can he/she then re-apply for CP considering that he/she has approved I-140?
In other words, does denial of I-485 automatically result in cancellation of underlying I-140?
