What happens to ead/ap

I have a question. What happens if you have ead and ap pending and your 485 gets approved even before your ead/ap get approved. Or does USCIS make sure to approve 485 only if cases associated with 485 are not pending.

I have not reached the stage ... where my 485 is approved..

If pending ead or ap .. and 485 is approved then ead/ap application will be denied.
