What happens if interview is scheduled prior to 5 year LPR anniversary?

I'm getting a little ahead of myself here, but I submitted my N400 exactly 90 days before my 5 year LPR anniversary, in the hopes of getting a jump on the process. I got my I-797 today, hopefully will get the FP and IL soon. Question is, if my interview gets scheduled prior to March 26th (5yr LPR date), what are the scenarios that can play out? Hopefully, God Almighty will make it so that the interview is on the 5 yr LPR date and there's the gift of USC on the same day :)

People sometimes get interviewed before the 5 years, but you cannot legally take the oath until completion of the full 5 years. If the interviewer makes the mistake of trying to schedule your oath date before the 5 years, remind them that it needs to be on or after your 5 year anniversary. Somebody on this forum actually reported this happening; he/she was initially set for an oath date 1 day before the 5 years, then pointed it out to the interviewer and got the oath for the 5 year anniversary itself.

However, this is a very rare event; most people wait at least 4 or 5 months for their interview.

Thanks JackoLantern and nkm-oct23, that really helps. What would we all do without the wealth of info you all bring to this forum?! Just amazing...
