Lets say you get success in your h4 interview...Then after that......
(1) will they give new I797 to your spouse for herself with her name written on it?
(2) How long will they put the visa generally in her passport? sometimes in the visitors visa and student visas you get lucky and they give u visa for 5 years and some times for 10 years even if you don't ask them. Does that happen with H4 as well?
(3) My wife is a doctor and she still has two more years to study in India.
My wife went to some counselling service for visa interview and they suggested us to tell the truth that my wife will stay with me for 1 month only in this trip and show the consulate her education papers & that will make our case stronger and she will easily get visa.Only thing i'm worried is that if they put visa for only one month then its not good. Do they see that how many days you are going to stay in usa or they just put the visa according to the validity of my I797?
