What happened to VSC I 140 Processing Times ????????

Hi Everybody,
Does anyone have any idea what is the reason for unusual delay for the processing of I 140 from VSC ? The processing date on USCIS site shows as 21 May 05 whereas the processing date for Texas I 140 has gone ahead to Sep 30 05. I have seen so many approvals for I 140 coming from Texas and Nebraska which were applied less than 2 months ago but no progress at all from VSC for I 140 . Is there any approvals coming really for I 140 from VSC these days ? My case is also pending for more than 2 months without any update . Please share any information which helps us to understand what is going on ?

I am also waiting for I-140 since july 28 2005. What is happnening with VSC centers. My friends recently got I-140 [EB3] in 2-3 weeks from VSC centre. how ????

Are we the unfortunate guys ??

Looks like only Texas and Nebraska center people are most lucky in the case of I 140 and we are in a hopeless situation at VSC. How can people from June/ July period are still sitting without any update on status ? It looks very strange to me . We all know that the dates shown in the USCIS site most of the time is not accurate and actual processing dates are ahead of the published date . So TSC might be procesing even OCT cases and VSC is sitting on cases from June and JULY. Very fishy and very difficult to explain what these guys really do.

Is there any inside information when VSC can start processing these recent I140 cases which are > 2 months old?

I filed my i140 in VSC ..My RD is 18th November .Lets see what happens ..One of my coworkers got his approved from VSC in 3 weeks. His RD was 10/26 and approval 11/16 ..He got his notice also yesterday..I am keeping my fingers crossed..Good Luck to everyone
 
how come I-140s applied in EB3 category at VSC are getting processed quicker than EB2s?

My friend who applied I-140 after me received his approval in a month. I'm still waiting. He applied in EB3 and mine is EB2.

Any clue????

Does it mean better chance for Success for EB2?

I have a guess . Does this approval pattern for 140s for EB3 from VSC and holding off the I 140s for EB2 category from VSC mean that they will approve both I140 and 485 altogether for EB2 peope when EB2 dates are moved forward substantially next month and they are waiting for that to happen. Since EB3 is still retrogressed , they are approving EB3 I 140 quickly and keeping away further processing for some time to come for them. Any supporting opinion on this ? Please check our PD dates , country , category and approval /Receipt dates for I 140 which can give us a clue to establish a pattern.

Don't worry about it

The dates are apparently wrong. I received my I-140 approval last week. My I-140 (EB2) receipt date was 09/27/2005. You will receive yours soon.

What is the details about your case like Country, PD ? My case was filed on 9/15/05 at VSC and it is EB2 , India and PD is 11/8/1999 . No word on I 140 approval yet . Did you also filed at VSC ?

its only one day difference .Yours can come any time.

Even i did not get mine yet. I got only the email confirmation. If you check your case status in the website , you will find the laterst statsu.
