People getting approvals left and right while FPs date of all around the calendar? Approvals have no direct link to FP date. any comment?

I think approvals have more to do with how the INS official feels on a particular day than with when the FP was done. FP as a criteria is probably lower than ND and RD. So many people outside Detroit got their FP notices very quickly but you don\'t see approvals for people with RD in July/August who did their FPs in January!!

There is no relevence to any theories as far processing goes. It all depends on the Officer to whom your case goes to.

But still i think its good to follow ND for 485 not FP dates.
I got FP within 2months of 485 application before EAD/AP.
But still they are doing only June cases.
