What happen when yout finger print get rejected

details

my wife\'s finger print was done on April 5th, and when she called the FBI, they told her they know nothing about her.
We went back to the office where we did the FP, and they told us, we know nothing also. they also said, it could have been rejected, which is different than what the FBI said. The FBI says they never saw it!!

According to the guy in the FP office, it takes 6 months to get a new notice? that is why I am aksing if someone has been in this experience before? and how did it unfold

thanks for the help and interest

would they accept the courtsey copy?

Would they accept the courtsey copy?, does the courtesy copy look like the original or is it a photocopy of it?

thanks for the reply and all the help

Sure, they do. We did with those only, though we had originals also with us.

Coutesy copy look like originals only, excepting that there is a message indicating that the original has been sent to the petitioner. In the original, the message is in the other way: Courtesy copy is sent to the lawyer.

However, before doing this, contact FBI again and make sure it is really lost. It could be in transit.
