questions in the interview, will I have another chance? can someone live under GC as long as He wants. I am not being pesimist just curious.

Yes, you can try again, and yes, as long as you maintain residency, you can keep a GC as long as you want. The test is not hard though, if you can speak English reasonably well and don't have a serious mental problem there is no excuse for failing, since the answers are all free online and you can study them as much as you want.

My uncle had his GC for 30 years.......he finally became a citizen a few years ago. I don't know if you could still do it.

I don't have the rules in front of me, so take this with a grain of salt. If you fail the civics test you'll be given another opportunity (I believe at a different date, but I'm not sure if you could ask for another chance during the same interview). If you fail twice then you are done with that N-400 application and go back to live in the US under permanent resident status for as long as you want if you don't want to reapply. You could reapply as soon as you want after your application is denied due to the civics test, as long as you comply with all the requisites (continuous residence, residence in district for 3 months, etcetera).

You can live in the US as long as you want with a GC (provided you follow the requirements of maintaining the card such as not committing crimes and not staying too long outside the US). And if your naturalization is denied because of failing the English or civics test, you can reapply as many times as you can afford to.

Has any applicant arugue with the IOs because he thought his answer was right and the IO insist it is wrong?

That is why it is recommended one should just use the answer provided by
USCIS and try to use them word for word. If the IO ask you "what is one power of the federal government". Never improvise an answer like "approve or deny my N-400 application" even that is absolutely right. Insetad answer "Make treaty, print money, create an amry etc"
