they do not have any more info than we do via the website - they refuse to inquire into anything unless 540 days have passed and even then, its just a letter they 'will' mail out to the INS to be responded 'in due course'...

today...re pending spousal application...he did not even suggest that they would put in an enquiry on my behalf...he suggested i should send the vermont center a letter by mail tomorrow, not today, since tomorrow would be 18 mnths and 1 day!!...

For almost all inquiries we made to NSC, we got the message that

They(NSC) will send a query to VSC .
So we are saving a postal stamp here hurray ........

after 4 months we will get a letter which will be:
The print out of the "status text" from the web.
