What does this mean?

What does it mean, Your case is waiting
for an officer to review.?

PD: Sept 02 (own labor)
RD: Oct 03
Last LUD: 08/19/2006
 
It means that it might take 1 day to 2 weeks to get approved.

I had that status when i called in morning and after an hour i got approval notice.

I just called NSC and a nice IO picked up the phone. She said that my case is in the staging area waiting to be assigned to an officer and it could take upto 120 days. What does that mean? Is it anywhere near approval?:(

don't worry man. You are near to approval.

If its in staging area and needs officer review or its with IO ... all good sign. Atleast you can assure that your all checks are done. and just waiting to get approved stamp on it.

I called them today, I asked her particularly whether my case is pre-adjudicated or not.
CSR said that my case is pre-adjudicated and waiting for officer to reivew. I don't know
how long is it goin to take?

Around the Corner

Your approval is around the corner. I had following situation.

On 06/08 IO replied that the application is moving to staging area.
On 06/12 IO replied that my application is waiting to assign to IO.
On 06/18 CSR replied that my application is waiting for office to review.
On 06/20 6PM got approval emails.
On 06/23 Got physical cards in mail.
