What does that Mean??

I had my I 485 interview yesterday. I applied for Adjustment of status based on my marriage to a US Citizen.

It took about 15 minutes. Immigration officer did not ask for pictures or anything. Just ID ( me and my wife) , my daughter's( US Citizen by birth) Birth certificate , asked when did we meet and when we started dating , Where I work etc . Also asked for the salary verification letter from my Employer.

At the end he told me one of these two things is going to happen. Either I will receive my Green card or I will receive requst for more info. O yeah he also told me they have to check some other stuff.

Anyone can tell me what is going on.

pretty obvious from what I could see: either you will receive the approval notice or RFE for more information. But mostly your case is approvable subject to security check or if your security check is cleared you will receive something in the mail--welcome letter and GC. You really should ask for it during the interview.
