What does Reading, Writing or Speaking English mean?

My friend failed the first natualization interview, she passed the part of civics test,and reading and writing test, but couldn't pass the part of additional qusestions. Now she received a Naturalization re-interview letter, which is Re-Examination for Reading, Writing or Speaking English. We dont know dosen't she still re take the civics test again or not, she is very nervous now, is worring about can't pass this interview again.

What additional questions? You need to be more precise.

As far as I think, The additional questions are about what you filled up on the N400 form. if she answer wrong at verification for some questions which she filled on N400 form, she may get trouble or she may need explanation for what she answered.

Fortunately, she got re-interview letter, that means she got second chance to respond for her N400 questions/trips details, residential details within past 5 years correctly. USCIS officer goes through those questions for verification. and that counts as speaking test.

However, I think for sure, if you failed at verification, they will stop for questions about civics test, and reschedule though.
