Hi All,

Today I talked to IIO at VSC. He told me that our file is in transit to floor. Can someone tell me what does mean.

Details are : ED2/INDIA/RD Apr 02,1999/ND May 03,1999.

IIO also told me that it sould not take beyond 18 months to process this.
He also mentioned that they are porcessing cases received in Aug-1999.

Hope this info helps some one.

I guess it should be with the officer. I think you should hear something within the next two weeks.

Looks like they are processing only April-May cases this week. Have not seen any june or july approvals this week.

DG:
When my wife talked to an IIO a couple of days back (7/31)she was given similar BS that you got. In addition she was told that our applications had been "signed out" by an officer but then he added that since a given officer signs out thousands of applications at one time, this by itself does not mean anything. The next day, i.e. yesterday (8/1) the automated message said RFE sent. My RD/ND is very close to yours 4/1/99 and 4/29/99. Hope you hear something very soon. Keep us posted.
