Hi There,

These days I have been frustrated with a letter from CIS that says my fingerprint results have expired or a clearance has never been received.

In fact, I did my fingerprint on December 11, 2004 after I had wait for 28 months since I file I-485 application with Texas Center. On Dec. 16, the CIS web updated my information saying that my fingerprint was received and my case processing was resumed. Since I called 1-800-375-5283 to inquire my case status a few weeks ago, I got the above message yesterday. What does it mean? Should I re-do my fingerprint? Is there anyfolks who had similar experience?

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

It is not possible for FP to expire. To see if it was sent, call FBI. You can search the forum for their phone #. Have your A# ready when you call them . They can tell you when they sent the results to USCIS. Good luck
 
Don't worry much about, CIS operators have limited access to pull info. or they interprate the generic msg.

follow urself.

First call and check ur FP & name check has cleared from agency. if no sucess try FOIA.
