What does file transfere to local office mean?

I talked to an IO today and he said file was transfered to local office, but did not tell me anything about the intreview.

It means your case file has been sent to the local office as an interview slot is either available or will become available very soon.

What is your time line? It seems you just done from the finger print if they just sent your case to the local office.

no I had my finger print done on Jan 09 and I applied December 08

In any case it is good news for you. I received Interview letter and then Discheduled Interview letter because the file was not arrived to my local office in time.
