What does Code 1 in 2nd FP mean?

Hi,

I am in need of your expert advise.

My PD is Jan 2005 in EB2, which is current. Received request for FP, with Code 1. I already did FP in Oct 2007. So, why am I asked to take FP 2nd time? Is there any time limit from 2nd FP to 485 apporval?

Fingerprints get expired and USCIS wants your FP before I-485 approval.

For I-485 approval the FP needs to be no more than 15 months old. This FP notice is good news. When your PD is current and they send you the second (or 3rd or higher) FP notice, it often means they are close to approving your GC. Mine was approved 2 months after my 2nd FP.
