What does "Category" on GC really means?

Hi Guys,

I just got my GC(plastic card) couple weeks ago, on my card beneath the Category is E37 which is "EB3, with Bachelors degree, status adjusted". When my lawyer filed my labor in 2001 my highest degree was bachelor, then in 2002 I got my master degree. My lawyer filed I-140/I-485 in early 2004, I believe he included the copy of my master diploma with all the other documents for I-485. But I am not sure which category he filed for me. I am wondering is that okey if I filed I-485 as E37 which is "EB3, with Bachelors degree, status adjusted" even I had a master degree at the time of filing.

Any info is helpful,
Thank you very much,
B

The GC was apparently EB3. If the LC only requires a Bachelor's, you could have 3 PhDs and it'd still be EB3.
