Your Passport, Travel Documents
Green Card, Memo from IRS stating that you have no overdue taxes.
Selective Service Card (if you are male and enter US between age of 18 and 26)
Divorce Marriage papers (if married divorced)

If I was you I would call IRS and asked them for tax transcript for 5 years, and they gonna mail it to you. It's gonna take up to 2 weeks to get it from IRS.

thank you uncle Joe,I will do that.It looks like your process is done less than 3 months.Fantastic!!

Most of the people got their interview scheduled at 2 month mark after mailed N-400, so after you mail your application wait for a week or two and start collecting necessary documents. It's better be prepared for the interview, if you have ever been arrested or violate the Law you have to bring a disposition dockets or similar documents stating that you took care of it at the timely manner it's a very important. Because if you haven't pay your tickets in timely manner it can be a sufficient to deny your case based on lack of moral character. Few weeks ago one dude was complain about denial of his case with similar issues. So be prepared.

The officer has the discretion to ask for the tax documents but usually they do not do that unless there is an issue about your tax payment history. An exception is if you have a marriage-based application--in that case tax returns are mandatory.

Where do you get this IRS memo that you paid all taxes and do not owe any money

Do you need to file a special form with the IRS to get the memo that you paid all taxes in the last few years..I am getting ready to file for citizenship and all your help in this forum is highly appreciated. Thank you!
