what documents needed for FP?

Hi Guys,

I am on H-1B. I140 approved, I485 pending at VSC. Anyone knows what documents do I need to bring for FP? I mailed my original I-797 to my parents for them to apply a visa. Is the original I-797 needed for FP?

Any info is helpful, thank you very much..

Documents for FP at San Jose, CSC ?

I have just received a FP date for November 6 at San Jose, (CSC). The problem is that my spouse's passport has expired. Now I am worried about sending the passport for renewal and not getting it back in time.
I am currently on H1, my spouse on H4, I have concurrently filed I-140/485 recently.
Can anyone fill me in if she will need her passport or just the driver's license will do? Appreciate if anyone has had San Jose experience recently.

Hi,
you need any one ID not nessasary passport. You can do one thin keep passport with u and after finish FP send it for renew. FP is just noting they will take 5-10 minute process. so dont worry and first get your FP done driver license is ok for ID.
