FYI............

Definition of FP checks:
There are 4 types of responses that can be sent by FBI

IDENT - The applicant was identified in the FBI database
NON-IDENT - The applicant was not identified in the FBI database
Reject - The applicant's prints were rejected because
the Fingerprints were unreadable by FBI
Pending - The FBI is conducting a more thorough search
on the fingerprints

You should be happy, FBI does not have your record, if they had you would be a criminal, so Non Ident basically means that your FP is clean and it does not match any criminals FP on the FBI records.

My RD is Sep'14th. I gave Fp on March 09 2002.

I am getting the following msg even now. Shall I need to contact INS on this.

"On March 20, 2002, the fingerprints for your I485 APPLICATION TO ADJUST TO PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS were collected and are pending review."


Please advise.
