What do these abbreviations mean?

I am trying to be a regular member of these forums since I am almost ready to file my NIW petition. Most of the members have signatures that show something like:

I140 EB1-EA
ND: 06/21/2006
PP ND: 11/21/2006
LUD's: 02/07, 02/08, 02/09, 02/12, 7:20 PM online approval notice, 02/13
AD: 02/12/2007
RFE???

I tried to search the forums but somehow I cant find an answer: What do these abbreviations stand for? Where do I find information about these.

Thanks in advance.

Hi ludhianvi

Let me see the ones I know are:

ND: Notice Date (you find this on the upper right-hand corner of any receipt notice you get from USCIS)

PP: I'm not sure, but I think refers to premium processing (I've never done this)

LUD: Last Update Date --> When you create an online account with uscis.gov, you'll see this date next to your case in your portfolio. It means that someone in USCIS looked at or did something with your file. Most of the time, the status of your application doesn't change

AD: Approval Date

RFE: Request for evidence. This is when they (USCIS) send you a letter asking for something not provided in the original application, or to show that you're still employed in the field described in an initial petition, or any other number of things

Thanks for the info, NIW_Engineer. One more question, do I have to create an account with USCIs.gov or it is automatically created when they receive the application? When can I create this account, after I have the receipt number or any time? If I can create the account now (I have still not submitted my application), can someone please provide the link. I searched on USCIS, but was not successful.

ludhianv,
You don't need a receipt number to create the account. Go here: (see the first bullet point near the bottom)
https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp
However, until you have a receipt number, there will be nothing to show in your account.
So submit your papers, and when you get the Receipt Notice it will have a receipt number on it, then go to your account and add to it whatever cases (EAD, AP, AOS) you have with them. This group of cases is known as a "portfolio".

By the way... those acronyms are:
EAD -> Employment Authorization Document (form I-765)
AP -> Advance Parole (form I-131)
AOS -> Adjustment of Status (form I-485)

Thanks NIW_Engineer for the response to my questions. I will create the account when I have the receipt number. Thanks once again.

Some more that I could find from a post under different category. May be helpful to newbies like me.

RD-receipt date -date USCIS received your application
ND-notice date-date INS inputs your info in their computer system
When you receive your receipts after you mail your application your notice date and receipt date will be on your receipts.
FP/BIO-Fingerprint and Biometrics
RFE-Request For Further Evidence(If USCIS wishes more info you get this)
EAD - Employment authorization Document (work permit)
I765-Application for employment authorization (that is work permit)
I131-Application for travel document (advance parole)
AP-Advance parole
