what do i ask the FBI for FP results ??

Please advice on what i need to verify my FP results with FBI.
Will they tell me if they passed okay ?.

Dont ask. Have patience.

Just because you telephoned they are not going to expedite the issue.

Why call FBI? If there is any problem "THEY" will call YOU!
 
If all goes well, the AVM will be updated with a message to the effect that

the results of your FP have been received and that processing of your I-485 has resumed. It takes about 3 weeks from FP for this message to appear on the AVM.

I did call FBI after my finger printing just to check. They got the FP record on the same day from INS and sent the result back to them on the very next day. They wont tell you the result. Once you know that, wait for a week and call INS to get the result. I understand that sometimes waiting could be very painful and seems like never ending. All the best.
