What date will appear on Green Card?

Hi all!
I'm curious to know what date will appear on my Green Card once I recieve it... (Not that I've even been approved yet!)

Will it be back-date to when I originally filed in 2005? Or will it have a more current date? Or will the date on it be the date that it was approved?


I'm asking this because I wonder if once I get it, I'll be able to go ahead and file for Citizenship since I'm still married.

It will be dated based on your approval date.
