What are they doing with my case?

My guess is that the middle would be the officer code and the last set is the type of RFE or letter or something.

If so, the middle set of letters is SNG104.

REF Code

Sorry guys...I asked to provide a copy of my REF. But didn't send it. she said I didn't have rights to see it. Who knows?

Mine is RRS807. I have not heard anything since I sent out the response to RFE, no LUD changed. cfiler, any idea what happened on my case?

I wish I knew, graduation2003. A 3 week wait is not out of the norm, some people wait 4 or more weeks for an approval, others as you know get approved a couple days after sending the RFE response.

If I had to take a completely uneducated guess, I would say that there may be a smaller group of adjudicators working exclusively on EB1 applications. I believe that each EB1 petition is very unique and requires a different set of criteria than EB2 and EB3. So that may be why you are waiting a little longer than usual. But again, this is my own theory and it's probably wrong!

Let me make a wild prediction and say that you will be approved no later than the end of next week! :) Good luck and please keep us updated!

Thank you very much for your kind prediction. I hope you are right again on this one, I know you won a lottery on skp19722003's.

From my signature, you know that I received two RFEs (one for EB1 and one for NIW) at same time and after three months preparation, my attorney sent out two packages to USCIS on 4/15/2005 (Friday) and DHL delivered the two packages to USCIS on 4/18/2005 (Monday). On 4/19/2005, one day after, I received an email saying that they have received my RFE response. From LIN number, I know it is my EB1 RFE response and same time LUD changed to 4/19/2005. There is no any change since then.

However, I have not received an email saying that they also received my NIW RFE response. The LUD for my NIW case is still 1/26/2005.

I called Customs Services several times. One person told me to wait. When I asked for how long, she said she didn't know. The other person told me to resubmit my NIW RFE response ASAP since the deadline (4/20/2005) already passed. Then I asked my attorney what we should do. He thinks that USCIS got my two RFE response already. But for some reasons, the officer only updated EB1 and forgot to update NIW. Now the two RFE responses should be right on his/her table. My attorney said we don't need to resubmit, instead, he will write a letter attached with DHL tracking record and remind them that my NIW RFE not been updated yet. I emailed my attorney yesterday and asked whether he sent the letter or not, so far I didn't get his response.

Actually, I am more confident on my NIW case to be approved, but they update my EB1 case not NIW...That is why I am so worried... :(

cfiler, do you think that my attorney's analysis is correct? I will keep you guys posted.

I agree with your attorney. I'm sure they received it, you know how bad the NSC is on acknowledgeing anything. His idea to write a letter with the tracking inforation is probably a good thing to do.
