My opinion, is that the implications are big.
It is will known that INS does not always update
their database quickly. A few people on this board
have posted that they did not recieve FP, EAD
cards because of change of addresses that occurred
months ago.
Normally the lawyer gets a courtesy copy of
approval notices, so I guess you can change
address if you keep the same lawyer. But
the EAD cards, AP and actual green cards, come
to your home address. I\'m not sure if mail
forwarding covers INS documents.
Furthermore, if you tell the INS you are changing
lawyers, then this will not get updated in their
data base in a timely fashion as well.
The worst thing you can do is change address
AND change lawyer.
