Hi,

I got my student visa rejected twice already like 6 months back. I am preparing for other english tests and I am hoping to score high and receive full scholarship from some university. What are my chances to receive F1 visa in that case ??Should I also look for other means of getting in USA to pursue my education(like marriage)?
I am 23 already and I wanna pursue undergraduate engineering. I been in USA 1 yr back on turist visa and visited several times. I have an apartment on my name and a share from a big house. My father has a small company.

Thanks

Sorry, but are you a girl? where are you from?
i asked those questions because if your only 23 yr old & your a girl from China, India or the Philippines. They reject your visa due to the fact that they project you will marry a US Citizen & not return your homeland after you are done with school.

Also, having a full scholarship would NOT add you any luck. In fact, it might even gives you some negative points. because you are NOT going to the US & spend money there. US Universities love international students due to the fact that they spent millions & millions dollars to the US, mainly from the school fee. An undergraduate engineering full scholarship is bad because one thing --- You are only undergraduate = not really that high-level in terms of academic. So if you are not there, your school might have to give the scholarship to some US Citizens or PRs.

Finally, telling them you have an apartment ready & your dad has a small company in the US are BAD BAD BAD IDEAS. It shows that you have been used to living in the US & even if a hard time hits you, you will still be able to live in the US no problem & not return.

Good Luck

She didn't say the company and the apartment were in the US. I disagree with the statement that with a full scholarship she has the same chance of getting a visa. With a full scholarship your chances definitely increase. As to the scholarship itself, an international student has almost no chances of getting one for undergraduate degrees, although it has happened before. Good luck!

That's good, i hope not, even if they are in the US, just don't mention them.

Full scholarship might give you adding points if your are a Grad. student.
Because there ain't that many schools offer Under International Scholarship, I will put $ on that it will hurt her applications, due to pulling away PRs & Citizens' scholarship.

Anyways, i wish you the best as well.

I know a few international students with full undergraduate scholarships. All obviously got an F-1 visa at the consulates.
