What are my chances for EB2-/NIW?

BS in Nutritional Sciences from Univ. of Texas
Currently employed at Mt. Sinai Medical Center (non-profit hospital) in Miami, FL as a research coordinator for a NIH-sponsored international research trial in Cardiology (205 centers in ~25 countries)
At the end of my H1B visa (ex date 10/15/05)

Do you think you are so specific at the position of a research coordinator that it is of national interest that you get the GC by NIW and not by LC ? Is your job so specific that most other people with your background couldn't do it ? If you have independent evidence (reference letters from independent scientists etc.) you might have a chance.
 
The NIH officer assigned to our trial feels it will be essential to the trial for me to continue, so I might tryit. We'll see what happens. Thanks for the reply

But do you can get recommendations from people who are not working with you, that is the important question. I very much doubt that a recommendation from that NIH officer will be incredible helpful since this is not an independent source of your qualification.
