What all document should i take with me while visiting india

Hi all:

Please give me some input what all document i should take with me while visiting india. Currently working on H1B( valid till 31st may 2006)

To enter to India :
- you need your passport (usually valid for 6 months) and,
if you are from the country that needs visa to India , Indian visa

To return to US:
- You need a valid passport
- As you H1B visa is valid till may 31 2006, as long as you return before may 31 2006, your visa is enough .
(Well, technically speaking, it is recommended to carry a copy of latest paystub, and H1 approval notice (I797 ). The imm. officer may send you to 2nd inspection if you don't have your I797. However, the change to have so bad luck is very low (I was sent just once , and I'm travelling overseas A LOT )
